It was folded into the Education and Manpower Bureau in 2003, following the passage of the ''Education Reorganization (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill 2002'' in the Legislative Council. {Link without Title} Before its abolishment the department was responsible for education matters in the territory, with the exception of post-secondary and tertiary education. |
