Djibouti Airlines is an Airline based in Djibouti . It operates regional scheduled and charter services using Wet Lease d aircraft as required, as well as being actively engaged in relief operations in East Africa . Its main base is Djibouti-Ambouli International Airport Flight International 3 April 2007. HISTORY The airline was established on 1 February 1996 and started operations on 5 February 1996 . It was established by former Puntavia director Moussa Riyale. It began as a low-fare commuter service with first flights to Dire Dawa and Hargeisa using a Let L-410 UVP-E aircraft. It is owned by Capt Moussa Waberi (Chairman)(97.3%) and other investors (2.7%) and has 46 employees (at March 2007 ). DESTINATIONS Djibouti Airlines operates services to the following international scheduled destinations (at December , Aden , Boosaaso , Dire Dawa , Dubai and Hargeisa .
