The Digital Alliance Foundation is a non-profit charitable foundation with a charter to provide capacity-building vocational IT/ICT skill to marginalized populations, in-country aide organizations, NGO's and governmentatl agencies through partnerships with the private and public sectors.

The Digital Alliance is a stakeholder in the UN Global Alliance for ICT and Development.

VISION

In collaboration with the private sector, civil society, governmental agencies, NGO’s and multi-governmental agencies, a regionalized, global educational program will be created to enable the transfer of technical knowledge, vocational skills, capacity building and infrastructure reinforcement. Through such activities the lives of individuals, families, communities and even nations can be transformed creating the opportunity for meaningful development and sustainable economic advantages for the target populations.

PARTNERS

The Digital Alliance is a unique combination of individuals and organizations who are committed to a common purpose - providing vocational, ICT skills to marginalized populations around the world.

The Digital Alliance is directed by ICT industry veterans from the private and public sectors as well as a growing number of individual volunteers with subject matter expertise - all with a desire to use their experience on behalf of others.

The Digital Alliance relies on its volunteer Advisory Council to help set strategic direction, align and refine objectives and provide overall counsel on how best to move forward.

We are proud to announce that Digital Alliance has been invited to participate as a Member of the UN Global Alliance for ICT and Development (GAID) High-level Panel of Advisors.

The Alliance responds to the need and demand for an inclusive global forum and platform for cross-sectoral policy dialogue on the use of ICT for enhancing the achievement of internationally agreed development goals, notably reduction of poverty >> more

We are equally proud to work with the Reach the Children:

Reach the Children, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that provides underprivileged children opportunities for self-reliance by strengthening families and communities. We accomplish this mission through a community development approach, incorporating elements from our areas of focus: AIDS Prevention, Education, Health, Micro-Enterprise, Orphan Care, and Water & Agriculture. MANAGEMENT TEAM

Martha Branigan-Sutton - Founder

Martha Branigan-Sutton is an African-American woman with a passion for humanitarian service. She holds a Juris Doctorate in Law with a focus in international trade arbitration. Martha envisions using this background to advocate for marginalized populations and influencing policy for the underprivileged - especially human rights violations. Meanwhile her hands-on humanitarian experience in Bolivia and Mexico have created a motivation to address the most basic of needs. She sees the Digital Alliance as a vehicle to make in-country aide organizations more productive and effective as they spend less time and resources in the office and more time in the field. This cross-cutting vision drives Martha to assist those who are already dedicated to serving more successfully within their subject matter expertise. In this way she can realize her dream of helping with the most basic of human needs through education and the application of technology.
