The Dayton Bombers are entering their 17 season as an ECHL Ice Hockey team located in Dayton, Ohio , USA . The team is in the North Division of the ECHL's American Conference and is affiliated with the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL and the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL . The Bombers originally played at Hara Arena from 1991-1996. The team moved to the the Ervin J. Nutter Center on the campus of Wright State University in Dayton in 1996. They have played in front of over 2 million fans in their 17 years. 2006-07 In the 2006-07 season Bombers fans saw their team come back from the depths, winning 17 more games than the previous season and becoming North Division Champs by beating their rivals, the Cincinnati Cyclones , 4 games to 3. The Bombers then went on to become American Conference Champions by beating the Florida Everblades 4 games to 3. From there they went on to face the National Conference Champion Idaho Steelheads in the Kelly Cup Finals. In this championship series the Steelheads defeated the Bombers 4 games to 1 to become ECHL Champions. CURRENT ROSTER As of April 23, 2007.
