MUSIC VIDEO

In the Music Video for the song, the band is invited to perform by the Master Of Ceremonies during a brief interlude at a rock music show at the famed Whisky A Go Go . Ratt is initially reluctant, as they were all on Hot Dates . However, after a little goading from the audience, the band relents and performs their smash hit single "Dance". The audience members are impressed by the intense sonic nature of Ratt and feel compelled to dance along to the song. The band then returns to the loving arms of their respective hot dates. It can be assumed that their incredible performance helped arouse their female companions. Therefore, performing "Dance" was a mutually beneficial arrangement. Ratt was most likely aware of this before they even set foot onstage, meaning they were just being modest and feigning when "relenting" to perform their song. This clever display of quick wit in the video was a case of "art imitating life", for it reflected the very real nature of the band.
