Cunninghame North was a Constituency represented in the House Of Commons of the Parliament Of The United Kingdom from 1983 until 2005, when it was largely replaced by North Ayrshire And Arran . The Scottish Parliament constituency also called '' Cunninghame North '' continues in existence.


BOUNDARIES


When created the constituency covered part of the Cunninghame District of the Strathclyde Region . The district and the constituency included the island of Arran .

In 1996 the district was largely replaced by the North Ayrshire Council Area .
