Crystal City is a village in the Rural Municipality Of Louise in the Canadian province of Manitoba . It is located on Highway 3 , 16 kilometres north of the Canada-U.S. Border border and 150 kilometres southwest of Winnipeg . Crystal City was established in 1879. Thomas Greenway , the founder of Crystal, later become its provincial representative in the Manitoba Legislature and later Premier Of Manitoba . MAJOR ATTRACTIONS The Crystal City Printing Museum , open on a full-time basis, is designated as a Provincial Heritage Site . |
