As of 2007, it has published more than 250 monthly issues, making it the second longest running independent comic book (after Cerebus The Aardvark ). It reprints Comic Strips such as Alley Oop , Modesty Blaise , Tarzan , Gasoline Alley , Flash Gordon , The Amazing Spider-Man , Star Wars , Hagar The Horrible , Peanuts , Batman , Barnaby , Steve Canyon , Casey Ruggles , Lance , O'Neill , Krazy Kat , Little Orphan Annie , Mandrake The Magician , The Phantom , Latigo , Rick O'Shay , and Buz Sawyer . In issue #200, ''Comics Revue'' featured the only English language publication of the last Modesty Blaise story, by Peter O'Donnell and Romero . This issue also included a complete index to the strip published up to this time.
