Clear Lake Intermediate School ('''CLIS''') is a school that is in Clear Creek Independent School District that is located on the corner of El Dorado Rd. and El Camino St. in Houston , Texas . Its principal is Dean Muths. It opened in 1973 and was the second Intermediate School , the 8th Graders split between Clear Lake High School and Clear Brook High School .

The boys football team won district championships from 2002-2006. The 7A and 7B of 2005-2006 and 8A and 8B of 2006-2007 was the first grade to win back-back championship in Clear Lake history.
