Central Administrative District, or '''Tsentralny Administrative Okrug''' (), is an administrative okrug of Moscow within the Kamer-Kollezhny Bank . Area: ca. 66 square km, population (2002 census): 701,353. The okrug, governed by the prefecture, encompasses eleven districts:


COAT OF ARMS

The Borovitskiy Hill , from which the colonization of Moscow began, is depicted under Yury Dolgoruky. The purple background symbolizes the supreme power of Russia, concentrated in Central Administrative Okrug. The gold Unicorn was a traditional symbol of Russian Tsar s. Below him an ancient Kremlin white-stone wall is featured.
