MASCOT

Carson High School's mascot is the Senator , indicative of Carson City being the capital of Nevada . Currently the mascot is seen to have one side of his mouth open, without a cigar. This is because the Senator previously had a cigar in his mouth, however the cigar has been removed, per the anti-smoking movement, which has led to a perpetual scowl on the face of the Senator.
