Information About

Camps Farthest Out

It hosts over 75 weeklong and weekend retreats across North America every year.
The movement was started by Glenn Clark, a Christian speaker, teacher, author, and athletic coach.
It began with one summer camp, in 1930 in Koronis, MN, and afterwards the camps began to quickly grow in number.
Glenn Clark sometimes called the camps "laboratories for experimentation in the art of praying,"
as prayer and the disciplines of silence and meditation played such an important role.

CFO’s purpose is to "inspire, instruct and provide means of
experience for individuals and groups to make life more meaningful and effective;
to coordinate the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of life under the Person and principles of
Jesus Christ; and to apply to life the laws and realities of the Kingdom of Heaven,
as set down in the Scriptures and as experienced in contemporary living."
and to "provide an environment in which Christians can spend time in worship,
prayer and fellowship to strengthen their faith."
