Burbank High School is a public high school located in Burbank, California . The school was built in 1908 when it broke off from the Glendale Union High School District. Burbank High will be celebrating it's centennial with the class of 2007-08 being the Centennial class.


HISTORY


Burbank High School is the flagship high school of the city of Burbank. Opening on September 14, 1908, Burbank High School's inaugural class had 334 students.

Soon after, John Burroughs High School opened to support the growing population of the City of Burbank.

In 2003, after going an extensive revitalization, Burbank High opened its first phase of reconstruction - a modern, state-of-the-art building housing new classrooms for the entire school. In the course of two years, finally completed in 2005, the Burbank High campus boasted a new gym, pool, visual and performing arts center, parking structure, athletic field, and tennis courts.
