APLS owns and publishes an academic peer-reviewed journal called ''Politics and the Life Sciences'' (PLS). The journal is edited in the United States at the University Of Maryland, College Park ’s School of Public Policy, in Maryland . The Department of Political Science at Northern Illinois University offers undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of politics and the life sciences.
