Bethel College is a Liberal Arts institution located in Mishawaka , Indiana . It was established in 1947 by a Mennonite group which was one of the founding members of the Missionary Church . Bethel College continues to be affiliated with the Missionary Church. ''' ACADEMICS ''' Bethel College offers undergraduate, graduate and adult degree programs through the School of Religion and Philosophy, the School of Arts & Sciences, the School of Business & Social Sciences, the School of Education, the School of Nursing and the School of Graduate and Adult Studies. More than 75% of the faculty hold a Ph.D. or the highest degree in their field and work closely with students in the classroom and on research projects. Recently, Bethel College purchased land adjacent to the south end of the campus for future building endeavors. Bethel College is currently building a $6.5 million expansion to the Middleton Hall of Science to offer more classrooms and labs. ATHLETICS Bethel College offers 17 sports, as well as cheerleading and competes in the Mid-Central Conference of National Association Of Intercollegiate Athletics Division 1 (basketball division 2) as well as the National Christian College Athletic Association .
