Bellevue Park was laid out in 1910, subdivided from the 1876 homestead of Jacob Haehnlen, which later became the home in 1908 of nationally known Horticulturalist , Environmentalist and publisher J. Horace McFarland . Bellevue Park is characterized by winding lanes, wooded topography, underground utilities and period street lighting. Impressive mansions and open preserves are protected by stringent Covenants .
