Baseball at the ''' 2007 Pan American Games ''' took place at ''Cidade do Rock'' which has received temporary facilities for Baseball competitions, with a stadium and training fields. Total capacity for these facilities is 651 spectators. Cuba is the reigning Pan American Games Baseball Champion, with 10 consecutive gold medals in Pan American Games . TOURNAMENT Each competition has 4 teams divided in two groups. In each group, each team plays against all others once and the two best advance to the semifinals. The best team from Group A will play the second team from Group B and vice verca. Ties within a group will be broken by the team allowing the least amount of runs to pass to the knockout round. The competition begins on July 14 , with the finals on July 19 (rescheduled to July 20 due to rain). Preliminary round Group A Group B KNOCK-OUT ROUND
