is a company which designs and manufactures voice and data communications products. Founded in
1986 , Aztech was listed on SESDAQ on the Stock Exchange of Singapore in 1994. The company has since grown much bigger. In recognition of this, the Stock Exchange of Singapore upgraded the company's listing to the SGX Main Board in 2006. Although best known for their networking equipment such as broadband modems,
Homeplug s and
Wireless Router s, Aztech also manufactures Digital TV Receivers and Remote Control Helicopters, as well as various other products. The company used to be a well known sound card manufacturer as well, but has since ceased such production.
In Malaysia, Aztech uses the brand name AZ-TECHNOLOGY. In the USA, it is known as AZTECH LABS,INC. In 2003, Shiro Corporation was established as a retail distribution arm of Aztech. Other than carrying the Aztech range of products, Shiro also carries its own range of products under its own Shiro brand name, with the most famous of the lot being their mp3 players.
- 1986: Aztech Systems is established in Singapore
