Azteca was formed in 1972 , started by Coke Escovedo who had just finished his stint with Santana . The band consisted of 16 members, some of who would later go on to be musical legends such as Lenny White , Paul Jackson , Tom Harrell , & Pete Escovedo . Only 2 albums were released, the self titled Azteca (1972) and Pyramid Of The Moon ( 1973 ). |
