Information About

Audio Computer-assisted Self-interviewing

Audio Computer-Assisted Self-Interviewing (ACASI) is a tool used to collect information from research participants in a confidential manner. Respondents listen to digitally recorded questions through headphones attached to a computer, then enter responses through a keyboard. Because it avoids having an interviewer present, and uses headphones, this tool is often used to gathering sensitive or personal information.
