Arlington Country Day School (ACDS) is a is Fred Lichtward. HISTORY In 1954, ACDS first opened as pre K-8th grade. The school received its full accreditation by Southern Association Of Colleges And Schools , the National Independent Private Schools Association and the Association of Independent Schools of Florida in 1968. "Arlington Country Day School has something it never had since opening 42 years ago: sophomores. Many of those first freshmen went on to graduate with the class of 1999. For the last 22 years the school has been owned and operated by Fred Lichtward. SPORTS ACDS has many sports programs. ACADEMICS Ever since the first graduating class of 1999, the number of students receiving academic or athletic scholarships has been around 70%.
