Information AboutAppleton Rum Rock Band |
|
Appleton Rum formed in the early 1970's and consisted of "Pinkie" Lee Harris (guitar, lead vocals), Dennis Harris (bass, lead vocals), Dennis McDonald (drums, vocals), and Mike Jackson (lead guitar, lead vocals). After Mike's departure in the early 1980's, he was replaced by Larry Carlysle (lead guitar, vocals). Their music was a fusion of rock & roll, blues, heavy metal, country, and southern rock creating a very interesting, diverse, and enjoyable sound. They were known for their unique style and vocal harmonies. Appleton Rum's only released recordings include two DVDs of the live performances at the ''Maude Cobb Convention Center'' in Longview, Texas and the ''Paramont Theater'' in Marshall, Texas. Each DVD has sold well under 1 million copies and are therefore, rare and in very limited quantities. They are currently working on the release of ''Rum Gold, Volume 3'' which includes recordings from the ''Hickory Ridge Restaurant'' in Hogeye. DISCOGRAPHY |
