Appalachian Ohio is defined by the US State Of Ohio to consist of the 29 south-easternmost counties. It is administered by the Governor's Office of Appalachia as part of the Appalachian Regional Commission , with three regional offices covering southern portions of the state. Just like any other region, there is no universally agreed-upon boundary for this geographical area of Ohio, as the entire area is defined differently by the opinions of multiple people. Port Columbus is the national hub for Skybus Airlines and offers primarily domestic flights. Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport to the east serves most of the residents of Cincinnati and it's Metropolitan Area .
