XEIMT-TV channel 22, also known as "Canal 22", is a cultural and educational television station owned and operated by Televisión Metropolitana S.A. de C.V., the broadcasting arm of ''' Conaculta ''' ("Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes", or "National Council for Culture and the Arts", a federal agency).

Programming on XEIMT generally consists of educational programs from Edusat , documentaries and cultural programming.

XEIMT is generally on the air daily from 7AM to 2AM.

XEIMT was originally one of three public television stations in Mexico City owned by the Instituto Mexicano de la Televisión (Imevisión); the others were XHIMT-TV and XHDF-TV . When the latter two were spun off to a new commercial broadcaster in 1993, TV Azteca , XEIMT remained an educational station, under Conaculta.
