Woodland Hills is an eastern suburb of Louisville, Kentucky . GEOGRAPHY Woodland Hills is located at (38.239270, -85.529448). According to the United States Census Bureau , the city has a total area of 0.6 Km&2 (0.2 Mi&2 ), all land. The community is located near the junction of Interstate 64 and Interstate 265 . DEMOGRAPHICS As of the Census of 2000, there were 657 people, 284 households, and 203 families residing in the city. The Population Density was 1,102.9/km&2 (2,848.6/mi&2). There were 289 housing units at an average density of 485.1/km&2 (1,253.0/mi&2). The racial makeup of the city was 99.24% White , 0.61% African American and 0.15% Native American . Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.07% of the population. There were 284 households out of which 25.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.9% were Married Couples living together, 8.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.5% were non-families. 26.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.31 and the average family size was 2.76. In the city the population was spread out with 20.1% under the age of 18, 4.4% from 18 to 24, 25.9% from 25 to 44, 24.2% from 45 to 64, and 25.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 45 years. For every 100 females there were 96.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.5 males. The median income for a household in the city was $59,904, and the median income for a family was $61,083. Males had a median income of $42,250 versus $30,156 for females.
