Walter H. Dalton is a Democratic member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's forty-sixth Senate district, including constituents in Cleveland and Rutherford counties. An attorney from Rutherfordton, North Carolina , Dalton is currently (2007-2008 session) serving his sixth term in the North Carolina Senate. {Link without Title} Dalton received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1971, and earned a J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1975.
