Viva! or '''Vegetarians' International Voice for Animals''', is a British Animal Rights group, which focuses on promoting Vegetarianism and Veganism . It was founded by Juliet Gellatley in 1994. Viva! organizes the biannual national "Incredible Veggie Roadshow" in the UK , which is attended by over 5000 people in London. It also runs the regional Roadshows across the UK. The aims of the Shows are to save animals and the environment by helping people go vegetarian and vegan. The group publishes a triannual journal entitled ''Viva! LIFE'', which includes recent research and campaign information, as well as vegan recipes. The group is an active campaigning organisation, working on issues such as factory farming and slaughter. Campaigns include Ducks out of Water, Pig in Hell, Dark Side of Dairy, Tesco Tortures Turtles, End of the Line (on overfishing). Viva! counts its victories as ending the sale of kangaroo, ostrich and crocodile meats in UK supermarkets; reducing live horse exports from Poland by 70,000 a year (it has a sister group called Viva! Poland in Warsaw); ending the sale of factory farmed duck meat in stores such as Marks & Spencer; reducing sales of factory farmed pig and duck meat. The group also produces information on how to go vegetarian and vegan including recipes and shopping guides. CELEBRITY SUPPORTERS
