"True Love" is a Popular song written by Cole Porter and was published in 1956 .
The song was introduced by Bing Crosby and Grace Kelly in the Musical Film '' High Society .'' The Crosby-Kelly version was also a popular recorded version of the song, peaking at #3.

Kelly's contribution on the record is relatively minor, duetting with Bing on only the final chorus. Nonetheless, the single is co-credited to her and became her only gold record and 21st gold record for Bing Crosby.

A version of the song by Jane Powell out at the same time as the Crosby-Kelly version was also popular. Other versions to achieve success include Richard Chamberlain 's 1963 single, a 1976 version by George Harrison on his album Thirty Three & 1/3 , a 1988 version by Shakin' Stevens , and a 1993 duet by Elton John and Kiki Dee . Patsy Cline also performed a version of this song.
