'' ('''''Tony Hawk's Skateboarding''''' in Europe), often called '''''THPS''''', is a Skateboarding Video Game , and the first in the ''Tony Hawk's'' Series . It has been released for the PlayStation , Dreamcast , Nintendo 64 , Game Boy Color , and N-Gage .
The game features the following levels:
The game features the following skaters:
- Officer Dick
- Private Carrera
In some versions, three of the original songs have replaced. Speedealer, Even Rude and The Vandals are missing from the game-in soundtrack and they've replaced with songs named Grand Unified - "Le Hot", AIM - "Ain't Got Time To Waste" and Aquasky - "Blue Thunder". Although all of the original songs can be heard in ending movies.
- The Dreamcast version has an unedited soundtrack. Also, three of the songs in the N64 version ("Police Truck", "Jerry Was a Race Car Driver" and "Screamer") were made instrumentals due to limited cartridge space - also due to this, all songs play one at a time in a single run, rolling back and forth endlessly.
- The levels from this game (and '' Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 '') were included in '' Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X '' with revisions, plus a further five additional levels. Also, on The N-Gage version, four of the ''Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2'' levels were unlockable ( Hangar , New York City , Philadelphia , and Venice Beach ).
- The Dreamcast version became one of the few Sega All Stars titles.
- If the player spills while doing a combo, he/she will hear an "awww" from the 'audience'
