The Trash Can Sinatras

The Trash Can Sinatras, now generally known as '''Trashcan Sinatras''', are a folded, the band continued to record and play live issuing various CDs and demos via their website to a small but devoted band of followers. The band has especially been well regarded by fans and critics alike for its complex wordplays played against pop harmonies. The fiercely loyal band of fan followers helped keep the band afloat until a Scottish national grant helped finish the most recent 2004 album. They finally returned in 2004 with '' Weightlifting '' which was warmly received by critics, and the band completed a 25 date US and Canada tour in October/November 2004. They are currently working on material for their fifth album.

The Trashcan Sinatras collaborated with writer Ali Smith on the song "Half An Apple", for the album '' Ballads Of The Book '', released in March, 2007 .
