His lyrics, although seemingly political at times, are very well constructed and notoriously difficult to memorize. One of his songs "Commodore 64" was a big club hit on the East Coast of North America.

Euphrates (band) including Narcy's vocals provided the soundtrack to the film Voices Of Iraq .
Over the years, The Narcicyst has shared stages solo and with Euphrates opening for the likes of Talib Kweli , Kanye West , Non Phixion , Madlib , A-Trak and DJ Vadim http://www.apathyisboring.com/en/art_music/39 to name a few.

Aside from music, he is a noted journalist and peace activist. He is known to be a very friendly and approachable fellow who often takes the time to chat with fans and friends alike. He currently resides in Montreal, Canada with his wife.
