Yassin Alsalman better known as '''The Narcicyst''' or '''Narcy''' is an , Canada he has experienced both the Western World and the Arab World . He was frontman to hip hop band Euphrates, but is now gong solo after the loss of one of the band members. He raps in both Iraqi Arabic and English . He has also done shows in Spain , United States , Canada and the Middle East . He has a very unique voice and is an outstanding lyricist which makes him very valuable to other Hip Hop artists who constantly request his guest appearance on their albums. His lyrics, although seemingly political at times, are very well constructed and notoriously difficult to memorize. One of his songs "Commodore 64" was a big club hit on the East Coast of North America. Euphrates (band) including Narcy's vocals provided the soundtrack to the film Voices Of Iraq . Over the years, The Narcicyst has shared stages solo and with Euphrates opening for the likes of Talib Kweli , Kanye West , Non Phixion , Madlib , A-Trak and DJ Vadim http://www.apathyisboring.com/en/art_music/39 to name a few. Aside from music, he is a noted journalist and peace activist. He is known to be a very friendly and approachable fellow who often takes the time to chat with fans and friends alike.
