The Thailand national football team is the national team of Thailand and is connected to the Football Association Of Thailand . The team has finished in the Asian Cup as third in 1972 . They participated in the Summer Olympics twice and Asian Games four times. The Thai team is dominant in South East Asia, having won the ASEAN Football Championship s in 1996, 2000, 2002 and regularly dominate the Football event of the South East Asian Games .
