Her first television role was as one of the children who bedevils the Second Doctor and his companions in the 'Land of Fiction' in the '' Doctor Who '' story '' The Mind Robber ''. She has also been seen on the small screen in shows as diverse as '' Dixon Of Dock Green '', '' The Brontes Of Haworth '', '' The Uninvited '', '' The Professionals '', '' Lovejoy '', '' Alas Smith And Jones '', '' Midsomer Murders '' and '' My Family ''. While film appearances have been few she was seen as Marianne Thornton in the 2006 film '' Amazing Grace ''. One of her well known roles was that of Fanny Price in the BBC's 1983 dramatisation of Jane Austen's '' Mansfield Park ''.
