The Suzuki Swift + is a rebadged version of the Daewoo Kalos and sold in Canada along with the Chevrolet Aveo and the Pontiac Wave , which is also only sold in Canada. Frank and Dan Sprongl (three time North American Rally Champions) campaigned a Suzuki Swift + in a Production 2 class in the 2006 Canadian Rally Championships, placing first in Production 2 and fifth overall for the season. Twice they overcome more powerful cars to finish on the podium (3rd at Rallye Perce-Neige Maniwaki and 3rd at Rallye Baie des Chaleurs).
