Steve Bunin (born in Seattle, Washington ) is an American Journalist who has worked for ESPN since August 2003 . He anchors a variety of shows, including '' SportsCenter '', '' Baseball Tonight '', '' NFL Live '', '' Outside The Lines '' and '' The Hot List ''. He often co-hosts '' ESPN Radio ''s '' GAMENIGHT ''. He also hosts MLS Primetime Thursday on ESPN2 . Prior to in Battle Creek, Michigan from 2002 - 2003 , WLAJ-TV in Lansing, Michigan from 2000 - 2001 , KNAZ-TV in Flagstaff, Arizona from 1998 - 2000 . WICZ-TV in Binghamton, New York in 1997 and WTVH-TV in Syracuse, New York in 1995-1996 . In 1998 , the Arizona Associated Press named him ''Best TV Sportscaster'' and ''Best TV Sports Coverage''. Also, in 2000 the Michigan Associated Press named him ''Best TV Sportscast''. Bunin is a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism in 1996.
