Skirlaugh is a village and Civil Parish in the East Riding Of Yorkshire , England in an area known as Holderness . It is situated approximately 7 Mile s north east of Hull city centre on the A165 Road . According to the 2001 UK Census , Skirlaugh parish had a population of 1,543.
