Shireoaks railway station serves the Shireoaks suburb of Worksop in Nottinghamshire , England . It was opened by the Sheffield And Lincolnshire Junction Railway in 1849 . The station is 22 km (13¾ miles) east of Sheffield on the Sheffield-Lincoln Line . SERVICE Monday to Saturdays, there is an hourly service to Sheffield (and beyond) westbound and Lincoln Central eastbound with extra trains to Cleethorpes on Saturdays.
