The animals of Serendipity include normal animals such as Bear s, Cat s, Dog s, Horse s and Rabbit s, and other animals, including sea creatures. There also are fantasy creatures, such as Unicorn s and Dragon s, and other odd-looking creatures. ''The Stories and Lessons''. The stories told in this series teach children important lessons because they are based on real-life situations. These books present moral issues that kids have to deal with in life, such as Lessons of Life, Growing Up, Handicap, Abuse , Fear , Friendship, Prejudice , Gossip , and Helping the Environment. The book series was adapted into a 26-episode Anime Series titled '' Serendipity The Pink Dragon ''.
