Ralph "Rusty" Humphries (b. 1966) is a syndicated Conservative talk-personality featured on over 250 radio stations nationwide and is syndicated by Talk Radio Network , which is sometimes jokingly re-titled as "The Rusty Network" on his program. The program is also featured on XM satellite radio. EARLY LIFE AND CAREER Career He has hosted radio shows in New York City, Dallas, San Diego, Atlanta and Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Humphries has also worked at radio stations in Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, Kansas City and Portland, Oregon. Humphries' has been named one of America's 100 Most Important Radio Talk Show Hosts eight years in a row, was nominated as Talk Personality Of The Year by Radio and Records. Humphries was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame as its youngest inductee ever. He is ranked number 41 in the Talkers Magazine "Heavy 100". After his two "Rusty Humphries' Salute to the American Veterans" concerts drew a sold out crowd on Veterans Day in 1999 and 2000, Humphries was named "Reno's #1 local entertainer. Humphries has produced 5 musical CDs including "Bomb Iraq - Rusty Humphries Takes on the Terrorists". His CD "Greeting From America - Wish You Were Here" was a "best of" collection made specifically for the American troops fighting in Iraq. Political Views Rusty Humphries is conservative. He has implied the death of his father (who died in the Vietnam War) was caused by anti-war activists of the 1960s. Personal life Rusty and his wife Kathleen have two daughters Katelynn and Karaline. Rusty is a singer/songwriter. In addition to writing many morning radio show jingles, his song, Do The Bart Man , made national charts and was the inspiration for The Simpson's Multi-platinum CD.
