ReSharper is a Refactoring and productivity Add-on for Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 and Visual Studio 2005 editions.

There are three stable versions available at the moment:
  • Resharper 2.0.2 supports C# language and ASP.NET , and works with both Visual Studio 2003 and 2005.

  • Resharper 2.5 works only with Visual Studio 2005. Test versions included some experimental support for Visual Basic .NET language, but it got dropped in final version. It brought some interface improvements.


ReSharper also offers Unit Testing support for NUnit and csUnit as well as NAnt and MSBuild Script editing.

Resharper 2.0.2 and 2.5 do not support Visual Studio 2005 Express Edition.
