Pretz (プリッツ, ''purittsu'') is a Japanese snack made by Ezaki Glico . It is stick-shaped and similar in texture to a Pretzel (hence the name), but unlike the other popular Japanese stick-shaped snack food, Pocky , Pretz is rarely sweet. Popular flavors include Salad , Roast , Tomato , Honey Mustard , Corn , Pizza , Butter , and Cacao . Special flavours can be found in other countries such as Larb in Thailand , Pineapple in Hawaii and Maple in Canada . COMMERCIAL CHARACTERS
PRETZ IN POPULAR CULTURE The Japanese anime Onegai Twins features a snack food named "Prech" which, aside from the difference in the product's name, is identical in almost every aspect to Pretz, down to the design of the box.
