Within Alberta, it passes through Wainwright , Fabyan , Irma , Kinsella , Viking , Bruce , Holden , Poe , Ryley , Tofield , South Cooking Lake , the outskirts of Sherwood Park and then continues into Edmonton as Whitemud Drive , which become Highway 2 at Calgary Trail. Along with Saskatchewan Highway 40 (with which it connects at the boundary), it forms part of the Poundmaker Trail , named after Chief Poundmaker of the Cree . |
