Philip John Smyth AM (born May 11 , 1958 in Adelaide, South Australia ) is an Australia n former Basketball player and current Head Coach of the National Basketball League 's Adelaide 36ers .

Smyth played over 350 NBL games for the St Kilda Saints (1982), Canberra Cannons (1983-1992), the Adelaide 36ers (1993-1994) and the Sydney Kings (1995), and won three NBL titles.
