North Carolina Gubernatorial Election, 2008

The next election for North Carolina 's Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and other Council Of State members will take place on November 4 , 2008 , coinciding with the U.S. Presidential Election . Incumbent Mike Easley is term-limited, meaning this is an open-seat race. Primary Elections are ordinarily held in May.
