National Conference Of Commissioners On Uniform State Laws

The first NCCUSL conference was held in 1892 when seven states sent commissioners to discuss and work toward uniformity in state laws. Every state had appointed commissioners to participate in the conference by 1912 . The current Conference President is Howard J. Swibel, of Chicago, Illinois .
