A 24 hour
Ultra-endurance mountain bike wilderness race. Held in Colorado each August. Competitors are required to climb a 14,272 foot mountain-Gray’s Peak. The course has varied from year to year, regardless it is very demanding and will challenge even the most conditioned and experienced racers. The winner is determined by who covers the most distance in the 24 hour period. The current course records are:
- Female Jari Kirkland in 2004 - 122.33 miles - 25,926 feet climbed
- Male Josh Tostado in 2005 - 156 miles covered - 32,350 feet climbed
