Miles Davis Harris-Crane (born '''Miles Davis Harris''') is a fictional character on the American Soap Opera '' Passions ''. He was portrayed by Lauren Bieber. CHARACTER HISTORY Childhood Miles is the son of Chad Harris-Crane and Whitney Russell . To avoid the shame of committing incest with Chad, whom she found out was her brother, and to protect their son, Whitney, then in a relationship with Fox Crane , tried to pass Miles off as his during the pregnancy. Whitney went into labor and delivered her son on March 23 , 2005 , on Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald's kitchen table. Miles' birth also included a miracle. His mother's best friend, Theresa, was paralyzed and in the moment of trying to help her friend give birth, Theresa gained the strength to walk for the first time in months. Whitney tricked Fox into giving her his power of attorney, at which point she gave Miles up for adoption. To Whitney's dismay, Chad, not knowing Miles was his child, wanted to keep Miles from suffering the way he had as an adopted child and adopted him. Miles lived with Chad at one of the apartments in the Crane Recording Studio. Whitney revealed that Chad was Miles's father before leaving Harmony to join a Convent , still thinking that Chad was her brother and they had committed Incest . Chad found out that he is actually the son of Alistair Crane and Liz Sanbourne , not of Eve and Julian. Furthermore, it was revealed that Liz was actually adopted by Eve's mother and step-father. This meant Liz and Eve are not biological sisters, but rather half-sisters through adoption, that Whitney and Chad were not biologically related, and that Miles was not inbred. Chad has changed his last name to Harris-Crane, but it has not been revealed if Miles' name has been changed as well. FAMILY Parents
