Michael Mayhew is the much younger brother of Benjamin Mayhew IX , Protector of Grayson . Until the arrival of Benjamin's son, Bernard Raoul, Michael was heir to the Protectorship, a position he did not want, and also Steadholder Mayhew. After the formal treaty of alliance between Grayson and Manticore , Michael pursued graduate studies at King's College on Manticore. It it unclear precisely what he studied or if he completed his graduate degree. |
