Michael Jacobs




At twenty-two years old, his play, "Cheaters" opened at the Biltmore Theater, making him one of the youngest playwrights in Broadway history. His next play, "Getting Along Famously" was produced Off-Broadway at the Hudson Guild Theater.

He was nominated for an Academy Award for "Best Picture" in 1994 for producing the motion picture, '' Quiz Show ''.

He is the writer of the ''Charles In Charge'' theme song.

His production company, "Michael Jacobs Productions" has been in long-term development partnerships with Universal, Tri-Star, Disney and NBC Studios. His television shows have appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX and The WB television networks.
