Matt Walsh (born December 2 1982 in Holland, Pennsylvania ) is an American professional Basketball player who last played with the NBA 's New Jersey Nets during the preseason of 2006. Walsh was released by the Nets in October 2006. The 6' 6" forward originally signed as an undrafted Free Agent from the University Of Florida with the Miami Heat . He was waived by the Heat on November 18 , 2005 . Walsh has been romantically linked to Playboy Playmate Lauren Anderson . In 2006/07 he played in Olympia Larissas BC , Greece having a successful year for both the team and himself. He was considered as one of the most valuable players of the Greek Championship A1 .

He played for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Summer League this summer and will finally play for Ricoh Manresa in spanish main league ( ACB ) after and agreement for one season.
